As if you need an official reason to visit St. Augustine… you can easily find a festival or event to use as an excuse to visit the Old City. Let’s be honest, though, the history and charming atmosphere are enough for anyone to travel across the states for even just one night here. Whether it’s highly acclaimed or more quaint, there is always something going on in the Old City. With each season comes an array of events, featuring everything from arts and crafts and music to the annual Nights of Lights and seafood specialties.
In fact, it can be overwhelming trying to find and decide what to do and when in a place like St. Augustine. There are so many resources online, including calendars of events, that serve visitors and residents alike, but if you aren’t looking for something in particular, you may be pulled and pushed in every direction.
Guests of Pearl of the Sea Bed and Breakfast receive special treatment. We live to love our home of St. Augustine and sharing it with others. It would be our pleasure to help you find festivals to attend, in addition to attractions to see and places you won’t want to miss.
The St. Augustine Music festival, for one, showcases various renowned musicians and artists, is free with no tickets required, and even includes a live stream online for those who can’t attend in person. Another illustration is the St. Augustine Spanish Wine festival that features more than 125 wines, not to mention fine cuisine and even fun games. The list goes on, and we’d be happy to share it with you.
Whether you want to plan your trip around a festival or two, or are simply hoping to catch one while you’re here, we will do all that we can to accommodate you. Our bed and breakfast is a great launching pad for the many events guests like to attend.
